Berlin is the capital of Germany and has a continental hub for air and rail transport.  It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the EU.  The metropolis is home to world-renowned universities, research institutes, sporting events, orchestras and museums.

For a walking tour with a difference, head north of Berlin for a tour into the past at Sachenhausen, one of the main concentration camps in Nazi Germany.  Also, do not neglect to see the view over the city from Reichstag, the Pergamon Museum, the priceless artwork contained in the Gemaldegalerie, the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedachtniskirche and the historical site of Brandenburger Tor.

Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and draws three million visitors per year with all its cultural and entertainment attractions.  As a shopping destination, Glasgow is second only to London in the entire United Kingdom.  Glasgow’s city centre is awash with shopping centres, restaurants, boutiques and pubs.

Glasgow is an art lover’s Mecca, with a whole host of art galleries throughout the city, like the Gallery of Modern Art, McClellan Galleries, Pollok House and the Fossil Grove.  Take an educational trip that is also fun: both the Glasgow Science Centre with its interactive exhibitions or the Tall Ship in the harbour, a restored cargo ship, would be hits with the children.
